On 2 September 2024, the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education was recognised by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). After more than a year of reviewing our agency’s procedures and processes, WFME has decided to grant SAAHE the Recognition Status and register the agency in the WFME database. This increases the prestige of SAAHE, and thus also the prestige of the medical faculties of our universities and their international attractiveness.
