The Slovak Institute for Strategies and Analyses (ISA), the European Commission and the OECD have conducted a project entitled “Improving Higher Education in the Slovak Republic” over the past year. We at the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education have provided regular input on the project and we were pleased to co-host a virtual concluding event to share the project’s results.
The project’s final report contains an assessment of the performance of Slovak higher education, an action plan for reform with a focus on improving the governance and financing of higher education, and international examples of higher education reform that Slovak policy makers and institutional leaders may find useful as they work together to improve the national higher education system. The full report will be available in English on the OECD’s iLibrary on 2 November 2021 and the report’s chapter containing the action plan will be available in Slovak and shared with you ahead of the event.
With the consent of the OECD, we would like to offer you a report in its original version entitled “Improving Higher Education in the Slovak Republic”.
If you are interested in making available the Slovak version of the third chapter of the OECD report, which contains the Action Plan for Improving Higher Education in the Slovak Republic, please contact us at kvalita [at] saavs.sk
